Rent v0.7.2
Conditional single-row updates now return EntityError::NotFound when their full
filter does not match. A row with the requested ID can exist without satisfying
the update's other conditions. In that case, save_one() does not return the
unchanged row as a successful update.
The same rule applies to relationship updates. Connecting, disconnecting or replacing related rows requires the source row to match the update's filter. Successful updates can still change a value used in that filter, and a matching update that leaves values unchanged still succeeds.
Upgrade
Upgrade every Rent crate and the CLI to v0.7.2, regenerate your clients, and
commit the application's lockfile. Regeneration is required to apply this fix
to existing clients. No schema changes or database migrations are needed.
See mutations for the single-row update API.
