Rent v0.7.3
Applications using recursive permissions now make fewer database reads when listing related records, loading nested relationships, or creating and deleting batches of records. Rent reuses eligible permission evidence within an operation while preserving tenant isolation, delegated access and independent authorization checks for each resource.
MariaDB 10.11 now returns the correct records for permission-aware relationship filters that combine nested relationships with indexed lookup tables. Pagination, ordering, duplicate rows and permission errors retain their existing behavior.
Upgrade
Upgrade every Rent crate and the CLI to v0.7.3, regenerate your clients, and commit the
application's lockfile. No schema changes or database migrations are needed.
For large result sets, use pagination to keep reads bounded.
